Getting to know the editor

The three tabs, the three columns and the panel rail on the right edge.

The editor opens one demo at a time. At the top sit the title, the state badge (Draft or Published) and the three tabs of the work.

EditWhere the demo is built: steps, hotspots, design and narration.
PreviewThe demo running exactly like the public link, inside the editor.
InsightsThat demo numbers: views, completions and retention per step.

The three columns

  • Left: the step list, in the order the visitor will see.
  • Middle: the stage, where the recorded screen shows and hotspots are dragged.
  • Right: the current panel, which changes with the button you pick on the rail.

The panel rail

PropertiesThe selected step and its hotspots.
DesignBackground, cursor, controls, branding and the player theme.
NarrationThe voice-over for each step, with voice and caption.
RecordingWebcam and microphone recorded over the step.
MenuThe section navigation menu of the demo.
TranslationsThe whole demo in another language.
Image editorBlur and touch-ups on the step capture.

Shortcuts

⌘Z / Ctrl+ZUndoes the last change.
DeleteRemoves the selected hotspot.
⌘B / Ctrl+BCollapses and reopens the dashboard sidebar.
Closed beta

Launching on August 12, 2026

Fouvia Studio is currently in a closed beta test, available only to people who signed up on the waitlist. On August 12, 2026 the download opens to everyone.
