Camera in the editor
Position, shape and motion for your face, all decided after the take.
Where the camera sat while recording settles nothing. In the Camera module you drag the bubble around the stage, including outside the recorded window and onto the background, and set everything else from the controls.
- A 3 by 3 grid to throw the camera into a corner in one click.
- Size, shape (round, square, rectangle, original) and rounded corners.
- Its own shadow, horizontal mirroring, and the option to hide the camera.
- Framing: when the shape crops the recorded width, a line picks which part of the image shows.
A different camera per stretch
The Camera track on the timeline is split the same way as Video. Each piece can have its own position, size and shape: split the video, select the piece on the Camera track, and adjust. Transitions animate position and size, and switch shape right at the cut.
Shift-click selects several pieces at once, and the adjustment applies only to those.
The drags from the recording
If you moved the bubble while recording, those moves were logged. Follow the drags from the recording replays that path in the final video; switched off, the camera stays where you put it in the editor.
