Resolution and frame rate

The free plan exports MP4 at 720p and 30 fps with a watermark. Pro unlocks 1080p, 4K and the Web preset, at 60 fps, with no watermark.

Quality

Two priorities. Sharpest result puts screen and webcam detail first: it takes longer and the file is bigger. Speed puts the wait first, with slightly lower quality at the same resolution, a smaller file and a much shorter render.

Other formats

  • Audio only, as M4A, when all you want is the narration.
  • Captions as a separate SRT or VTT file.
  • A JPG thumbnail, taken from the video itself.
  • Separate clips as a ZIP, one file per piece on the timeline.
  • Raw recordings as a ZIP, with the original screen, camera and microphone files.

While it renders

The editor pauses so the render can use the whole machine. Feel free to minimize Fouvia and come back when it is done. At the end, the folder holding the file opens on its own.
