Keeping the app updated
How the automatic update works and what happens to your permissions.
Fouvia checks for a new version when it opens. When there is one, a notice shows the version number and an Update Fouvia button. The app downloads, installs and reopens itself on the new version. You never have to run the installer again.
You can put it off with Not now. The notice comes back next launch.
Updates never touch your recordings or projects. On the Mac, everything the app keeps on your computer lives in one folder inside your user Library, under Application Support, in the Fouvia Studio folder: recordings, opened projects, wallpapers you imported, and sounds already downloaded from the library.
