Granting the macOS permissions

macOS lets no app see your screen, your clicks, your camera or your microphone without explicit consent. Fouvia shows all four permissions on one screen, with the status of each, and checks again every time it opens.

Screen Recording, the required one

Without it the bar finds no screens and the record button stays blocked. It is the only truly mandatory permission.

1. Click Allow on that rowFouvia opens System Settings straight to the right page: Privacy & Security, Screen Recording.
2. Switch Fouvia Studio onThe list shows every app that asked for access. Find Fouvia Studio and flip the switch next to it.
3. Come back to the appThe status updates by itself. On some macOS versions you have to quit and reopen Fouvia after allowing it.

Accessibility, the one that makes zoom happen

This is what lets the app record where on screen you clicked, even inside other programs. Those clicks are the raw material for automatic zoom: every burst of clicks becomes a zoom block in the editor. Without it, recording works fine, but no zooms are generated and the editor opens with an empty zoom track.

Camera and Microphone

macOS asks for these itself the first time you turn on the webcam or the microphone in the recording bar. If you hit Don't Allow by mistake, you can reverse it in System Settings, Privacy & Security, on the Camera or Microphone page.

Permissions survive app updates. The signing identity is deliberately the same in every version so you never have to grant everything again after an update.
